Welcome, everyone!  This page has a few examples of my writing.  My first book, entitled Cleave, was released in May 2018 from Spartan Press, and my second, Scheherazade Plays The Chestnut Tree Cafe, was released in April of 2019.  If you haven't tried much poetry, my stuff is pretty accessible.  I often tell stories, and my poems travel to Vietnam, Iceland, Alaska, Colorado, inscapes, and, of course, the rural roads of Northeast Kansas.  My first children's book, The Heights of Love, ​was published by Meadowlark Press in 2024.
